Management by Exception

You may set patient-specific rules that determine when a patient should be flagged. “Flagged” patients will sort first in the patient dashboard list view. You will initially be offered to setup notifications as part of the process of adding a new patient. You may add or update notification rules from the patient detail page at anytime. Each patient may have multiple notifications.

Notifications and Flags

From the patient detail page you can set patient-specific rules that determine when a patient should be flagged and if an email or text notification should be sent.

There are three types of notification rules:

  1. Activity
Flag a patient if device IS used in a particular time period.
  2. Inactivity
Flag a patient if device IS NOT used in a particular time period.

  3. Duration
Flag a patient if device is used LESS THAN a set number of hours a particular time period, or if device is used MORE THAN a set number of hours a particular time period (can be used to match RAD guidelines).

Notification rules are set per patient from the patient detail page, via the "Edit Notification Rules" button.

Flag Display on the Patient Detail Page

When a notification rule is triggered in a given day, that day will be shown on the patient detail page's usage graph with a light red background and all periods of usage on that day will be graphed in red.
